Digital Proofs:

We provide PDF files as electronic soft proofs. These digital proofs intend to show you the layout and design elements of your job, but cannot be a guarantee of color accuracy. If color accuracy is of extreme importance to you, please ask for a hard copy proof. Scan all transparencies and line art at 100% of final size unless data size is prohibitive. If such a case occurs, scan at 1/4 or 1/2 of final size.  Scan all transparencies and line art at 100% of final size unless data size is prohibitive. If such a case occurs, scan at 1/4 or 1/2 of final size.

File Format:

We accept the following file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG & .PDF. All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch). For wide format prints, please create your file at 150 dpi. File(s) provided that are low resolution will cause the final print to be pixilated & blurry. Some text may not be legible; especially smaller fonts. We recommend no less than 300 DPI for the best quality printing. Files must be ORIGINALLY created & saved this way.

Low Res vs High Res

Color Mode:

All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) color mode. All black & white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode. Artwork that is in RGB mode will print out differently than CMYK. Please be sure you use the correct color mode in your file.

CMYK vs RGB

Bleeds:

Please build your print-ready digital files by adding 1/8" bleed to each dimension. Create an additional 1/8" mark for the text margin, creating a total of a 0.25" margin. Failure to do so may result in text or images being cut off in final product. Please design your files on our templates to ensure proper bleed. In the image below, the blue line represents the 0.25" bleed, the black line represent the actual size of the print, and the pink line represent the safety zone. Please keep all important content within the pink line!

Bleeds and Margins

Bleed vs No Bleed

The example above shows the difference between not having a bleed and creating a full bleed. Without the bleed, your print will have a border around the artwork whereas a full bleed will allow the artwork to bleed off the edges.

Fonts:

Please embed or outline all fonts within the file. Otherwise you will risk missing the font in the final product.

Foil and Spot UV:

To create a spot UV or foil print, you must create an additional file with what you want with foil/spot UV ONLY. Whatever is desired to have spot UV or foil must be 100% black.
